OUR MISSION

We believe that a church's mission is defined by the Bible. So, our "mission statement" is really just Jesus' own words:

And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” - Matthew 28:18-20

OUR VISION

1. Biblical Truth

The Bible says that the church is “the pillar and buttress of the truth” (1 Tim. 3:15). If a church doesn’t exist to uphold the truth, we have no business doing anything else. As a church, we strive to be passionate about the truth, whether it is popular or not. That means both proclaiming and receiving the truth with eagerness.

2. Relational Depth

The world offers all sorts of programs and events to make people’s lives busier, and the more we try to compete with the world, the more we will be drowned out. Christ’s church, rather than adding to the world’s programs, must offer something unique: Spirit-filled love, fellowship, and accountability.

3. Focused Worship

Our Sunday worship service is one hour out of 168 hours in a week — that’s 0.6% of our time. This means two things: (1) Worship must extend beyond the Sunday service, and (2) We must make every minute count in our gathered worship, keeping our hearts and minds focused on what matters most.

4. Confident Prayer

True spiritual growth is always fueled by prayer, not money, charisma, or excitement. We are called to pray boldly, specifically, and patiently — asking, seeking, and knocking on the door of a God who delights to answer prayer.

5. Sacrificial Mission

The mission of the church, whether it’s local or international, requires us to sacrifice. A growing church sacrifices not just money for the kingdom, but time and comfort as well.
